Shipping Information

Air Shipments:

If you desire expedited air shipments, Sabina recommends you procure a quote for your estimated shipping charges, prior to submitting your purchase order and or shipping instructions. Air shipments can only be sent with our receipt of your written authorization. It is the responsibility of the ordering party to be sure this authorization is received in a timely manner.


C.O.D. Shipments:

C.O.D. shipments are not available.


Commercial Invoices:

A Commercial Invoice is required for all out of country shipments. If you do not provide this with your order, Sabina will create a Commercial Invoice for $15.00(g). The following information is needed prior to shipping your order:

•  Value of shipment (typically equal to your customer invoice amount,  less freight).

•  Consignee phone number (your  customer phone number).

•  Your Tax Identification number.


Drop or Split Shipments:

There is a $10.00(g) charge for each drop or split shipment after the first shipment. Any order in broken case lots will require a specific quotation and this will result in an up charge. Sabina will be held harmless for any damaged order reshipped from the first drop point. All multiple drops are F.O.B. Northwestern Ohio. Additionally, please note that one of the shipping locations must be designated as the  recipient of over or under quantities.


F.O.B. Points and Freight Claims:

Prepay single point shipments are made  F.O.B. Northwest Ohio, Central Florida, Northeast Texas, Southern Nevada and Western Pennsylvania, whichever point is best for the buyer. Will call pickup is available at the Orlando F.O.B. point for a charge of $25.00(g). All multiple drop shipments and 3rd party billings ship FOB Northwest Ohio. Title and responsibility for the goods passes to the buyer upon tendering of the goods to the carrier at the F.O.B. point or upon sending the invoices for finished goods, whichever occurs first. Claims for damages or delays in transit must be filed with the carrier if shipping collect or third party. As a courtesy upon request, Sabina will accept breakage claims for the ware portion of shipments made on small Package Carriers, whether shipped on our account or yours. A claim for the freight portion must be made by the party paying for the freight. All freight claims must be made within ten (10) working days of shipment.


Freight Charges:

Unless otherwise specified, all shipments will be sent freight prepaid. Sabina reserves the right to submit additional freight billing from the carrier after the original invoice is issued for miscellaneous fees, including, but not limited to: inside delivery, residential delivery, re-delivery, address corrections or brokerage fees billed by the carrier after the first invoice is generated. Sabina will provide freight estimates. However, estimates are not guaranteed and Sabina will be held harmless for the final freight billing. Credit will not be issued if final freight charges are different than the quotation given. Just a reminder that freight estimates will vary contingent upon any over or under runs to the order. Most shipments are released as Class 70 with released value of $0.90 per pound. Full value insured shipments must be clearly stated on your order. Unless otherwise specified, Sabina reserves the right to ship your order by the method we deem to be the most efficient manner. This means that we will ship the best method to get your order to the final destination on time and intact. There will be a $50.00(g) charge for any changes to orders that have been staged for shipping. We will not be responsible for accuracy unless changes are received in writing.


Inside and Residential Deliveries via Motor Freight Carriers (LTL):

Orders requiring inside or residential delivery must be noted on your purchase order. Failure to do so may result in delayed delivery and additional freight charges forwarded to you after the initial invoice is issued. Please specify inside delivery and the suite/room number or floor on the purchase order. Any delivery beyond a loading dock may be considered an inside delivery. If an inside delivery is requested at the time the delivering carrier attempts to deliver, be advised you will receive an additional invoice for this service in addition to your original invoice.



Third Party Freight  Processing Fee:

Processing fee will be applied to all shipments directed to a customer freight account as follows:

•  Small Packages: $5.00(g) charge per order.

•  $10.00(g) Charge per skid.


UPS/FedEx/Parcel Post Shipments:

Glassware and ceramics are generally not originally suitably packaged for small package carrier shipment. If you require shipping via small package carrier, we will repack the order into protective cartons at $5.95(g) charge per carton. This charge is in addition to the freight charge and will be itemized on the invoice. If you incur breakage, we can initiate a claim for you, only if we shipped on our account number. The filing of third party or collect claims are the responsibility of the account holder. Please retain the original delivery location for the possible carrier inspection. Claims for the damage must be filed within 10 days of shipment or no consideration can be given.

NOTE: If you decline the use of overpack cartons, it is understood that Sabina is held harmless for any breakage claims. Minimum order to replace breakage is 36 pieces.

There will be a $35.00(g) charge for special handling of parcel post shipments. Shipping via Parcel Post will increase the post production shipping process by two business days. Sabina will not be responsible for lost or damaged goods shipped via Parcel Post.
